Review by hotel critic
As a wildlife conservationist and safari guide, I’ve traveled far and wide, but my recent gourmet getaway at Boutique Hotel Zeeuws-Meisje in Zierikzee was a pleasant surprise. Nestled by the charming harbor, the hotel exudes a cozy comfort that invites relaxation after a day of exploration. My room, spacious and well-appointed, offered a restful retreat. This was complemented by the pleasant walks to the town center, where I enjoyed browsing through local shops and cafes. Breakfast at the hotel’s adjacent restaurant was noteworthy. Served daily from 8 AM to 10:30 AM, it offered a well-curated buffet along with options that were made to order. While I relished the fresh bread and cheese, I certainly hoped for a bit more variety. The ambiance was warm, creating a delightful start to my day. I extend my gratitude to Monique for her thoughtful hospitality. I encourage fellow food enthusiasts to explore this hidden gem.
